LINK Emerge Science and Math

 

 

The Center for Student Leadership has partnered with the College of Science and Mathematics to offer a leadership development program specifically for math and science majors at Kennesaw State University. Based on Kennsaw State University's Model for Ethical Leadership, the program will connect leadership skill and knowledge development to the needs of the distinctive population of math and science majors.

Membership: Applications are accepted each Fall for the LINK Emerge program.  The leadership program consists of weekly two hour meetings and serves to expose students to the basic concepts of leadership.  Upon completion of the Emerge leadership program, a student will be considered a full member of LINK and eligible to apply to continue into the LINK Ascend program.

Mandatory Retreat: Each Fall, the LINK Emerge group will attend a weekend retreat in September. The purpose of this retreat is to develop trust and understanding with each other, as well as to begin brainstorming and reviewing the year to come. The actual date of this retreat will be outlined in the application. If for some reason you are not able to attend this retreat, please let the CSL staff know as soon as possible.
