Judy received her undergraduate Fine Arts degree from Valdosta State College in Speech Communication/Public Relations in 1980, with a focus on public speaking. She worked 16 years in collegiate admissions and returned to college to achieve a Master of Science degree in Community Counseling from Georgia State University in 1996.
Judy joins the CSL staff as Assistant Director after having spent over 9 years working in the CAPS Center at KSU. While in CAPS, she was a student affairs counselor and the coordinator for the new student orientation program.
Judy enjoys presenting workshops on effective communication, assertiveness training, values, listening skills, personality assessment, and presentation skills. She has been involved as an instructor for the Leaders In Kennesaw student leadership program since its inception.
When not working, Judy can be found with her husband, watching their son and daughter play soccer. She also enjoys music and reading and is actively involved in her church and her son’s high school soccer booster club. |
